Revue Antiquité tardive

This international journal is the publication of the Association since its foundation for the Lyon Congress held there in 1986. It included then french specialists of the period (4th-8th c.) in various disciplines, history, archaeology, epigraphy, law and philology and yet many other interested scholars. Membership was extended to specialists from neighboring countries who served on the advisory and editorial committees, directed over by Fr. Baratte. To fulfill its international and multidisciplinary mission, the Association expanded again to include the scientific community.

Each annual number of the journal will be about 250 pages long, divided into four parts : a group of articles on a subject which changes annually, in depth studies, a chronicle of brief notices and observations, and detailed critical reviews of major works.
